Mission Statement

The purpose of the Association is to disseminate information to its membership to enable them to better interpret the Uniform Construction Code of the State of New Jersey and to better perform their services as Municipal Code Enforcement Officers in their respective localities. The Association shall inform the Municipal Code Enforcement Officials of new procedures of code enforcement, amendments to the codes, new methods of construction, or the use of new products or materials available to the building industry. We shall strive to elevate the position of Municipal Code Enforcement Officials to a level commensurate with the responsibilities and obligations placed upon them.

We shall endeavor to maintain good fellowship and mutual understanding among its members and to foster cooperation between the membership and others directly or indirectly connected with the building industry. And we must strive to educate the general public in matters of Code Enforcement, regulations and standards for buildings.
